What is stored in the Home directory on Ubuntu?

In Ubuntu, the Home directory stores users’ personal files and settings. Each user in the system has a corresponding Home directory, which includes the user’s desktop files, documents, music, videos, pictures, and other personal files. Users can also create their own subdirectories in the Home directory to organize files. The Home directory also contains users’ configuration files and settings, such as their personalized settings, browser bookmarks, desktop backgrounds, etc. Users can freely create, modify, and delete files in the Home directory, as it is their private space that other users cannot access.
