What are the levels of consistency in Cassandra?
There are four different consistency levels for Cassandra, which are:
- Full consistency (ALL): All write requests must be completed on all replicas to ensure data consistency.
- Quorum consensus: Write requests must be completed on at least a subset of replicas, read requests must be completed on at least a subset of replicas, ensuring data consistency.
- LOCAL_ONE consistency level: Write requests only need to be completed on the local replica, read requests only need to be completed on the local replica, potentially leading to data inconsistency.
- Local Quorum (LOCAL_QUORUM): Write requests must be completed on a local replica, while read requests can be completed on at least one replica, ensuring data consistency.
