Laravel Constants: Setup Methods
There are several ways to define constants in Laravel.
- Set constants in the config file: Constants can be defined in any configuration file under the config directory, and then you can retrieve the value of constants through the config() function or Config Facade.
- Constants can be set in the .env file by defining them using the KEY=VALUE format. The values of the constants can then be retrieved using the env() function or the env() Facade.
- Set constants in the AppServiceProvider: You can use the config() function or env() function in the App\Providers\AppServiceProvider to set constants that can be accessed throughout the entire application.
- Define constants directly in the code: You can define constants in the code using the define() function or the const keyword, and then access them throughout the entire application.
These methods can be chosen according to specific needs to set constants in an appropriate way.
