How to set up alert rules in Zabbix
Alert rules in Zabbix should be configured by following these steps:
- Log in to the Zabbix console, go to the “Configuration” menu, and select the “Actions” option.
- Click on the “Create action” button to begin creating a new alarm rule.
- In the newly created alarm rule, input the rule’s name and description, and select the trigger conditions. You can choose an existing trigger or create a new one.
- In the “Operations” section, you can set up alarm actions to send emails, text messages, or execute custom scripts.
- In the “Recovery operations” option, set up recovery actions. You can choose to send a recovery notification email or run a specific recovery script.
- After ensuring all configuration information is correct, click the “Add” button to save the alarm rule.
