KubeOperator Deployment Guide
KubeOperator is an open-source platform for managing Kubernetes clusters, offering functions for one-click deployment, visual operations, and application management. Below are the steps for deploying and managing applications in KubeOperator.
- Deploy KubeOperator:
- Download the installation package of KubeOperator and unzip it onto the server.
- Edit the configuration file config.yml to set up parameters such as the database connection.
- Run the install.sh script for installation.
- After installation is complete, visit http://your_ip:8000 to access the web interface of KubeOperator.
- Set up a Kubernetes cluster.
- Click on “Cluster Management” on the left menu bar of the KubeOperator’s web interface.
- Click on “Create Cluster” and fill in the basic information of the cluster, such as the name, version, and network configuration.
- Configure node information, including node IP address, hostname, and role.
- Click “Create” to start creating a Kubernetes cluster.
- Deploy applications:
- On the web interface of KubeOperator, click on “Application Management” in the menu on the left side.
- Click “Create Application”, choose the type of application to deploy, such as a Web application, database, etc.
- Fill in the basic information of the application, such as name, version, and image.
- Set up the application’s parameters, such as environment variables and mounting data volumes.
- Clicking on “create” will allow you to start deploying the application.
- Surveillance and administration:
- Click on the “Monitoring Center” option in the left side menu on the KubeOperator web interface.
- You can check the status of the cluster, resource usage of nodes, and more.
- In “Application Management,” you can check the deployment status and logs of applications.
- Operations such as scaling up, upgrading, and rolling back can be performed.
By following these steps, you can deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, as well as deploy various applications using KubeOperator.
