To set up a scheduled task for restarting in Windows 10, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open “Task Scheduler”: Press the Win + X keys, and select “Task Scheduler” from the menu that pops up.
  2. Click on “Task Scheduler Library” in the left panel of the Task Scheduler window.
  3. Click on “Create Basic Task” in the right sidebar to launch the “Create Basic Task Wizard.”
  4. On the first page, enter the name and description of the task, then click “Next”.
  5. On the second page, select triggers and set it to regular trigger. Click on “Next”.
  6. On the third page, select the reboot time and date you want to set, then click “Next”.
  7. On the fourth page, choose “Launch Program” and then click “Next.”
  8. On the fifth page, type “shutdown” (without the quotes) as the program to run, and enter “-r” (without the quotes) in the “add parameters (optional)” section. Click “Next”.
  9. On the sixth page, review your settings and then click “Finish”.

After completing the above steps, your scheduled task will be created and your computer will restart regularly at the specified time.
