How to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11?
In order to upgrade to Windows 11, you need to ensure that you meet the following system requirements:
- CPU: At least a 64-bit dual-core 1 GHz processor or higher.
- Memory: at least 4 GB.
- Storage space: A minimum of 64 GB.
- Graphics card: must support DirectX 12 or higher, and have WDDM 2.0 driver.
- The monitor must be at least 9 inches and have a resolution of 720p.
- Secure Boot: UEFI firmware secure boot support is necessary.
- TPM: Support for TPM version 2.0 is required.
If your device meets the requirements mentioned above, you can upgrade to Windows 11 by following these steps.
- Open Windows Update: In Windows 10, click on the “Start” menu, select “Settings” (gear icon), and then click on “Update & Security”.
- Check for updates: Click on the “Windows Update” tab, and then click on the “Check for updates” button.
- Download and install updates: If there are any available Windows 11 updates, you will see a notification saying “Windows 11 is ready.” Click on the “Download and Install” button.
- Installation complete: The download and installation process may take some time, please be patient. Once the installation is finished, your device will automatically restart and upgrade to Windows 11.
