Once the break statement is executed, the program will exit the loop and continue executing the code after the loop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code><span class=\"hljs-keyword\">for<\/span> (<span class=\"hljs-type\">int<\/span> i = <span class=\"hljs-number\">0<\/span>; i &lt; <span class=\"hljs-number\">10<\/span>; i++) {\r\n    <span class=\"hljs-keyword\">if<\/span> (i == <span class=\"hljs-number\">5<\/span>) {\r\n        <span class=\"hljs-keyword\">break<\/span>;\r\n    }\r\n    cout &lt;&lt; i &lt;&lt; endl;\r\n}\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>In the example above, the break statement will be executed and the loop will be exited when i is equal to 5.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The continue statement is used to stop the current iteration in a loop and move on to the next iteration.
