Transfer learning involves using a pre-trained model to speed up the learning process for a new task. Here are the steps for applying transfer learning to image classification tasks in TensorFlow:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose a pretrained model: TensorFlow offers many pretrained models such as Inception, ResNet, VGG, etc. Choose a model that fits your task as the base model.<\/li>\n<li>Freeze some layers of the base model: In transfer learning, it is common to freeze the first few layers of the base model, which are typically used to extract generic features. By freezing these layers, their learned features remain unchanged, thus speeding up the training process.<\/li>\n<li>Add a new fully connected layer: after the base model, add a new fully connected layer to adapt to a new classification task. These fully connected layers will learn how to map the feature extracted by the base model to specific classification labels.<\/li>\n<li>Training model: Train a new dataset using a model with transfer learning.
