There are two ways to back up a Couchbase database: using the cbbackup command line tool or through the Couchbase Web management interface.<\/p>\n

  1. Backup the database using the cbbackup command line tool.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. First, log in to the Couchbase server using ssh.<\/li>\n
    2. Run the following command to back up the database: cbbackup http:\/\/localhost:8091 \/path\/to\/backup\/directory -u username -p password<\/li>\n
    3. This will create a backup file in the designated backup directory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Backup the database using the Couchbase Web interface.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Access the Couchbase Web management interface.<\/li>\n
        2. Select “Data” in the left navigation bar.<\/li>\n
        3. Click on the “Export” button and choose the bucket you want to back up.<\/li>\n
        4. Click on “Export Bucket” and choose the file type and location for the backup.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
