  1. Make sure the USB flash drive is properly connected to the computer and not damaged. You can try inserting the USB drive into different ports or into another computer to see if you can successfully copy the files.<\/li>\n
  2. Check if the USB drive has been properly mounted. In Ubuntu system, you can open the terminal and input the following command to view the mounting status of the USB drive:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    df -h\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
    If the USB drive is properly mounted, you should be able to see the information on it.<\/p>\n

    1. Check if the file system of the USB drive is damaged. You can run the following command in the terminal to check the file system of the USB drive:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      sudo fsck \/dev\/sdX\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
      Please replace “\/dev\/sdX” with the actual device path of your USB drive.<\/p>\n

      1. If the file system on the USB flash drive is damaged, you can try reformatting the drive. Please be aware that this will delete all data on the USB drive. You can run the following command in the terminal to reformat the drive.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        sudo mkfs.vfat \/dev\/sdX\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
        Please replace “\/dev\/sdX” with the device path of the USB drive.<\/p>\n
