In other words, the INTERSECT operator compares the result sets of two queries and returns the rows that exist in both result sets.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, let&#8217;s say we have two tables, A and B, with Table A containing the following data:<\/p>\n<table>1.<br \/>\nID<br \/>\nName<\/p>\n<p>1. John<br \/>\n2. Alice<br \/>\n3. Bob<\/table>\n<p>\u8868B\u4e2d\u5305\u542b\u7684\u6570\u636e\u5982\u4e0b\uff1a<br \/>\nTable B contains the following data:<\/p>\n<table>id<br \/>\nname<br \/>\n2<br \/>\nAlice<br \/>\n3<br \/>\nBob<br \/>\n4<br \/>\nMary<\/table>\n<p>If we execute the following SQL query:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code>SELECT * FROM A\r\nINTERSECT\r\nSELECT * FROM B;\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>The result will be:<\/p>\n<table>2<br \/>\nAlice  <\/p>\n<p>3<br \/>\nBob<\/table>\n<p>This is because there are rows with behavior IDs 2 and 3 present in both tables A and B.
