  1. Open Idea and either create a new project or open an existing project.<\/li>\n
  2. Create a database connection in the project. Click on the “View” menu, then select the “Database” option to open the database panel.<\/li>\n
  3. In the database panel, click on the “+” button in the top left corner and select the appropriate database type (such as MySQL, Oracle, etc.).<\/li>\n
  4. Fill in the corresponding fields with the connection information of the database, including the hostname, port number, database name, username, and password.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the “Test Connection” button to verify if the database connection is successful.<\/li>\n
  6. After successfully connecting, click the “OK” button to save the database connection information.<\/li>\n
