LIMIT is a keyword used in MySQL to restrict the number of rows returned in a query.<\/p>\n

When using the LIMIT statement, two parameters can be specified.<\/p>\n

  1. The first parameter is the index of the desired starting line to return (counting from 0).<\/li>\n
  2. The second parameter is the number of rows that you want to return.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here is the grammar:<\/p>\n

    SELECT column1, column2, ...\r\nFROM table_name\r\nLIMIT [start,] rows\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
