To deploy a PHP project on CentOS 7, the following steps need to be taken:<\/p>\n

  1. Install the necessary software and dependencies.<\/li>\n
  2. Install the EPEL repository and then install Apache (httpd) and PHP, including necessary extensions.<\/li>\n
  3. Start the Apache server.<\/li>\n
  4. Initiate and activate the httpd service using systemctl.<\/li>\n
  5. Set up virtual hosts for the Apache server (optional):<\/li>\n
  6. Create a new virtual host configuration file: sudo vi \/etc\/httpd\/conf.d\/myproject.conf<\/li>\n
  7. Add the following to the file (modify as needed):

    \n ServerName myproject.example.com
    \n DocumentRoot \/var\/www\/html\/myproject
    \n
    \n Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
    \n AllowOverride All
    \n Require all granted
    \n <\/Directory>
    \n<\/VirtualHost><\/li>\n
  8. Save and exit the file.<\/li>\n
  9. Copy the PHP project files to the document root of the Apache server (default is \/var\/www\/html\/) or to the specified virtual host directory.<\/li>\n
  10. Set the correct file and directory permissions.<\/li>\n
  11. Give ownership of the \/var\/www\/html\/myproject directory and its contents to the apache user and group, then set permissions to 755.<\/li>\n
  12. Restart the Apache server.<\/li>\n
  13. Please restart the httpd service using sudo systemctl.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
