In PHP, the try-catch statement is used to capture and handle exceptions. If an exception is thrown in the try block, the code in the catch block will be executed.<\/p>\n

However, there are some cases where try-catch may not be able to catch the exception, including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. PHP version issue: Ensure that your PHP version supports try-catch statements. The try-catch statement is available in PHP 5 and higher versions.<\/li>\n
  2. Error reporting level: In the PHP configuration file (php.ini), make sure error reporting level is set to E_ALL in order to capture all exceptions. This can be achieved by modifying the “error_reporting” directive in the php.ini file.<\/li>\n
  3. Exception not thrown: Make sure the exception is correctly thrown within the try block. If the exception is handled or suppressed by other code before being caught, the try-catch statement will not be able to catch it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here is an example of using try-catch to catch exceptions:<\/p>\n

    In the example above, when an exception is thrown, the code in the catch block will be executed and print out the exception information.<\/p>\n
