If Linux cannot be mounted in read-only mode, there are several possible solutions.<\/p>\n

  2. Forced read-only mounting: You can try using the “-o ro” option in the mount command to force the filesystem to be mounted in read-only mode. For example: mount -o ro \/dev\/sdX \/mnt.<\/li>\n
  3. Make sure the file system is not in use: Ensure that no other process is currently using the file system. You can check using the lsof command: lsof | grep \/mnt (where \/mnt is the mount point path). If there are processes using the file system, you can try to kill these processes or restart the system.<\/li>\n
