Metaclasses are classes used to create other classes, allowing for control over the behavior of class creation. In Python, all classes are created by metaclasses, and typically there is no need to customize metaclasses as Python already provides default metaclasses for class creation.<\/p>\n

However, sometimes we may need to customize metaclasses to implement specific functionalities, such as automatically registering a class to a registry upon creation, or validating class properties during creation. By customizing metaclasses, we can intervene and control the behavior of a class during its creation process, thereby achieving more flexible functionalities.<\/p>\n

In general, the role of metaclasses in Python includes but is not limited to:<\/p>\n
