Some commonly used collection classes include the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>List is an ordered collection that allows duplicate elements. Common implementations include ArrayList and LinkedList.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code>List&lt;String&gt; list = <span class=\"hljs-keyword\">new<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-title class_\">ArrayList<\/span>&lt;&gt;();\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<ol>\n<li>Set is an unordered collection that does not allow duplicate elements. Common implementations include HashSet and TreeSet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code>Set&lt;String&gt; set = <span class=\"hljs-keyword\">new<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-title class_\">HashSet<\/span>&lt;&gt;();\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<ol>\n<li>A map is a collection of key-value pairs, with each element containing a key and a value.
