  4. On Windows, type: net start OracleServiceSID (SID is the name of your database instance)<\/li>\n

  6. Then type: lsnrctl start (to start the listener)<\/li>\n
  7. Final input: sqlplus \/ as sysdba (log in to the database as SYSDBA)<\/li>\n
