For example, if you have two curves labeled as &#8220;Data 1&#8221; and &#8220;Data 2&#8221;, you can create the legend using the following code:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code>x = <span class=\"hljs-number\">1<\/span>:<span class=\"hljs-number\">10<\/span>;\r\ny1 = <span class=\"hljs-number\">2<\/span>*x;\r\ny2 = <span class=\"hljs-number\">3<\/span>*x;\r\n<span class=\"hljs-built_in\">plot<\/span>(x, y1, <span class=\"hljs-string\">'r'<\/span>, x, y2, <span class=\"hljs-string\">'b'<\/span>);\r\n<span class=\"hljs-built_in\">legend<\/span>(<span class=\"hljs-string\">'Data 1'<\/span>, <span class=\"hljs-string\">'Data 2'<\/span>);\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>This code will plot two curves in red and blue, displaying &#8220;Data 1&#8221; and &#8220;Data 2&#8221; in the legend.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>After drawing the curves, variables can be used to label each data series and input these variables into the legend function.
