  2. Install JDK by running the installation program and following the instructions. During the installation process, you can choose to install JRE (Java Runtime Environment), which is necessary for running Java programs.<\/li>\n
  3. To set the JAVA_HOME variable, right-click on “Computer” (or “This PC”) in the start menu, select “Properties.” Click on “Advanced system settings” (or “System” -> “Advanced system settings”) to open the system properties window.
