  1. To view the list of cron tasks for the current user, enter the command crontab -l in the terminal.<\/li>\n
  2. Edit the crontab task list by entering the command crontab -e in the terminal.<\/li>\n
  3. In editing mode, each line represents a task in the following format:<\/li>\n
  4. Order<\/li>\n
  5. The first asterisk represents minutes (0-59).<\/li>\n
  6. The second asterisk represents the hour (0-23).<\/li>\n
  7. The third asterisk represents the day (1-31).<\/li>\n
  8. The fourth asterisk represents the month (1-12).<\/li>\n
  9. The fifth asterisk represents the day of the week (0-7, with 0 and 7 both representing Sunday).<\/li>\n
  10. Command is the instruction or script to be executed.<\/li>\n
  11. To run a script at 8 AM every day, you can add the following line to the crontab.<\/li>\n
  12. Run the script located at \/path\/to\/script.sh every day at 8 AM.<\/li>\n
  13. Save and exit edit mode. In the vim editor, you can press the Esc key on your keyboard and then enter :wq to save and exit.<\/li>\n
