To set up MySQL master-slave replication, you need to follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Set up the primary database (Master):<\/li>\n
  2. Open the configuration file of the main database (usually my.cnf or my.ini), and enable the binary log feature. Add the following lines to the file:

    \nserver-id = 1<\/li>\n
  3. Reboot the main database to apply the settings.<\/li>\n
  4. Configuration from the database (Slave):<\/li>\n
  5. Open the configuration file from the database and enable the server functionality. Add the following line in the file: server-id = 2.<\/li>\n
  6. Restart the database for the configuration to take effect.<\/li>\n
  7. Create a user for replication on the primary database.<\/li>\n
