TRUNCATE is a DDL (Data Definition Language) command that directly frees up the storage space of a table and does not generate any rollback information in the UNDO tablespace. Therefore, it is impossible to recover data deleted by TRUNCATE using transaction rollback or Undo logs.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to back up data before executing the TRUNCATE command in order to restore the data when needed.
