It can convert an XML layout file into its corresponding View object.<\/p>\n<p>The general steps for using the inflate method are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can create a LayoutInflater object by either calling the getLayoutInflater() method to get the LayoutInflater object of the current context, or by creating a LayoutInflater object using the LayoutInflater.from(context) method.<\/li>\n<li>By calling the inflate method of the LayoutInflater object and passing in the resource ID of the layout file to be loaded and an optional parent ViewGroup, the method will return a corresponding View object.<\/li>\n<li>Add the returned View object to a specified parent ViewGroup, or display it as the ContentView of the Activity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The sample code is shown below:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"post-pre\"><code><span class=\"hljs-type\">LayoutInflater<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-variable\">inflater<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-operator\">=<\/span> getLayoutInflater();\r\n\r\n<span class=\"hljs-comment\">\/\/ \u52a0\u8f7d\u5e03\u5c40\u6587\u4ef6<\/span>\r\n<span class=\"hljs-type\">View<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-variable\">view<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-operator\">=<\/span> inflater.inflate(R.layout.activity_main, <span class=\"hljs-literal\">null<\/span>);\r\n\r\n<span class=\"hljs-comment\">\/\/ \u6216\u8005<\/span>\r\n<span class=\"hljs-type\">View<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-variable\">view<\/span> <span class=\"hljs-operator\">=<\/span> inflater.inflate(R.layout.activity_main, parentViewGroup);\r\n\r\n<span class=\"hljs-comment\">\/\/ \u5c06View\u5bf9\u8c61\u6dfb\u52a0\u5230\u7236ViewGroup\u4e2d<\/span>\r\nparentViewGroup.addView(view);\r\n\r\n<span class=\"hljs-comment\">\/\/ \u6216\u8005\u4f5c\u4e3aActivity\u7684ContentView\u663e\u793a<\/span>\r\nsetContentView(view);\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Please note that the second parameter of the inflate method is optional.
