To remove temporary tablespace, you can follow the steps below:<\/p>\n

  1. Firstly, make sure that no applications or sessions connected to the database are using the temporary tablespace. You can use the following command to check for active connections:<\/li>\n
  2. Retrieve the APPLICATION_HANDLE, APPLICATION_ID, and AGENT_ID from the table SYSIBMADM.SNAPDB_APPL_INFO where the DB_NAME is equal to ‘‘.<\/li>\n
  3. Please wait for any active connections to terminate or close them by terminating the relevant applications.<\/li>\n
  4. In DB2 console or command line interface, use the following command to make the temporary tablespace unavailable:<\/li>\n
  5. Put the temporary tablespace named offline.<\/li>\n
  6. Please replace with the name of the temporary tablespace you want to delete.<\/li>\n
  7. Ensure that the temporary tablespace is set to offline before using the following command to delete it.<\/li>\n
  8. Delete the tablespace named .<\/li>\n
  9. Please replace with the name of the temporary tablespace you wish to delete.<\/li>\n
  10. After dropping the temporary tablespace, you can verify if it has been successfully deleted by using the following command.<\/li>\n
  11. Retrieve the tablespace name from the SYSIBMADM.TBSP_UTILIZATION table where the tablespace type is ‘T’.<\/li>\n
  12. If the temporary tablespace is successfully dropped, this command will not return the name of the dropped temporary tablespace.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please be cautious when dropping temporary table spaces to ensure there are no active connections using it.
