C# orderby: Sorting Collections Explained

In C#, the orderby keyword is used to sort elements in a collection or array. You can use the orderby keyword to sort elements in ascending or descending order based on a specified condition. For example:

List<int> numbers = new List<int> { 5, 2, 8, 1, 3 };

var sortedNumbers = from num in numbers
                    orderby num ascending
                    select num;

foreach (var num in sortedNumbers)
{
    Console.WriteLine(num);
}

In the example above, we created a list of integers called numbers and used the orderby keyword to sort the elements in ascending order. Finally, we used the select keyword to output the sorted elements to the console.
