What is the relationship between ibatis and mybatis?

iBatis and MyBatis are actually different versions of the same persistence framework, with iBatis being the predecessor of MyBatis. Initially developed by Clinton Begin, iBatis was later renamed MyBatis and taken over by the Apache Software Foundation. MyBatis is an upgraded version of iBatis, with improvements and additional features. Therefore, it can be considered as the evolution of iBatis, essentially being the same framework.
