How to Delete Data in Laravel
In Laravel, deleting data can be achieved using the delete() method of an Eloquent model. For example, if you want to delete a record, you can use the delete() method like this:
User::find(1)->delete();
The code above will delete the record with the id of 1 in the users table. Additionally, you can also use the destroy() method to delete multiple records.
User::destroy([1, 2, 3]);
The code above will delete the records in the users table with the IDs 1, 2, and 3. It is important to note that using the delete() method will trigger the model’s events and triggers. Before deleting the records, additional operations can be done through the deleting event.
