Java Tuple: Definition and Usage
In Java, there is no built-in tuple type. Tuples are a data structure that can contain multiple values of different types and are commonly used for returning multiple values or passing multiple values between methods.
In Java, you can simulate tuple functionality by using data structures like arrays, lists, maps, or by customizing a class with multiple fields. Additionally, Java 14 introduced the Record class, which allows for easier definition of immutable classes with multiple fields, and can also be used to achieve similar tuple effects.
