The steps to reinstall the Ubuntu system are as follows:

  1. Back up data: Before reinstalling the system, make sure important files and data have been backed up to an external device or cloud storage.
  2. Download Ubuntu system: You can download the latest version of Ubuntu system image file from the official Ubuntu website (https://ubuntu.com/).
  3. Create a bootable disk: Use tools like Rufus or Etcher to write the Ubuntu image file onto a USB flash drive or DVD.
  4. Start the computer by inserting the prepared boot disk and restarting the computer.
  5. Access the BIOS settings: press the appropriate key during computer startup to enter the BIOS settings screen (usually F2, F10, Del key), and set the boot sequence to start from the USB drive or DVD.
  6. When installing Ubuntu, selecting the boot disk will bring you to the installation interface. Follow the on-screen prompts to choose the language, keyboard layout, and other options, then click the “Install Ubuntu” button.
