Three methods for transferring files into a virtual machine

There are three ways to transfer files to a virtual machine.

  1. Shared folder: Many virtual machine management software (such as VMware, VirtualBox, etc.) support setting up shared folders between the virtual machine and physical machine. Specify the folder to be shared in the settings and mount the shared folder in the virtual machine to access and transfer files.
  2. File drag and drop: Some virtual machine management software allows for transferring files through direct drag and drop. When dragging and dropping files between physical and virtual machines, the virtual machine will automatically copy the files into the virtual machine.
  3. Utilize network sharing: set up a shared folder or shared network drive between the virtual machine and physical machine to access files on the physical machine from the virtual machine. Files can be transferred through network sharing.

The availability and procedures of these methods may vary depending on the virtual machine management software being used. For specific operations, please refer to the documentation or help guide of the virtual machine management software.
