Proxifier tutorial

Proxifier is a tool that can help users connect any application to the internet through a proxy server. Here is a basic tutorial on how to use Proxifier.

1. Download and install Proxifier: Download the installation program suitable for your operating system from the official Proxifier website and follow the prompts for installation.
2. Launch Proxifier: Once installation is complete, open the Proxifier application.
3. To add a proxy server: on the Proxifier interface, click on the “Profile” menu, then select the “Proxy Servers” option. Next, click on the “Add” button to create a new proxy server.
4. Configure proxy server: In the pop-up window, enter the relevant information for the proxy server, including the server address, port number, authentication method, etc. If your proxy server requires a username and password for authentication, you also need to enter the corresponding information in the “Authentication” tab.
5. To configure the proxy settings for the application: go to the “Profile” menu in the Proxifier interface, then select the “Proxy Chains” option. Next, click on the “Add” button to add a new proxy chain.
6. Configure proxy chains: You can select the previously added proxy server in the pop-up window and adjust the order of the proxy servers using the up and down arrows. You can also choose whether to use the proxy servers in a round-robin fashion according to their order.
7. To add an application: In the Proxifier interface, click on the “Profile” menu, then select the “Proxification Rules” option. Next, click on the “Add” button to add a new rule.
8. Configuration guidelines: In the pop-up window, select the application you want to proxy and choose the previously added proxy chain. You can also choose whether to disable DNS resolution, use a remote DNS server, and more.
9. Save Configuration: After completing the above steps, click the “Ok” button to save the configuration. You can click on the “Profile” menu in the Proxifier interface, and then choose the “Apply All” option to apply the configuration.
10. Test proxy connection: Open the application you want to proxy and check if it successfully connects to the proxy server. You can view information about the proxy connection in the status bar of the Proxifier interface.
