How to switch desktops in Windows
In the Windows operating system, there are several ways to switch between desktops.
- Pressing the Win key + Tab will open the task view, allowing you to switch between different desktops. Pressing Ctrl + Win + left/right arrow keys will directly switch to adjacent desktops.
- Using the taskbar: On the taskbar, you can see icons of all open applications. If there are open applications on different desktops, you can switch between desktops by clicking on the respective icon.
- To use the Task View button: Click on the Task View button on the far right of the taskbar to open the Task View, allowing you to switch between different desktops.
- Utilize the multitasking view by pressing the Alt key + Tab key to switch between different applications. If there are open applications on different desktops, you can use the multitasking view to switch between desktops.
Please note that the above methods are applicable for the Windows 10 operating system. The way to switch desktops may be slightly different in earlier versions of Windows.
