Change IntelliJ IDEA Background to Black

To set the background color to black in Idea, follow these steps:

  1. Open the idea software and access the settings interface. You can open the settings interface by clicking on “File” -> “Settings” in the menu bar or by pressing the shortcut “Ctrl+Alt+S”.
  2. In the settings menu, navigate to “Appearance & Behavior” -> “Appearance” section.
  3. In the “Appearance” section, locate the dropdown menu for “Theme” and choose the “Darcula” option, which is a preset dark theme in IntelliJ IDEA.
  4. After selecting the “Darcula” theme, click either the “Apply” or “OK” button to save the settings.

This will allow you to set the background color of the idea to black. If you want to change other colors or themes, you can also make adjustments in the settings interface.
