To reconfigure the interpreter in PyCharm, you can follow these steps:
- Open PyCharm and select the “File” option in the top menu bar.
- Select the “Settings” option from the drop-down menu to open PyCharm’s settings interface.
- In the left panel, locate the “Project” option, then select the project for which you want to reconfigure the interpreter.
- Locate the “Project Interpreter” option in the panel on the right side and click on it.
- In the drop-down menu, you will see the interpreter currently being used by the project. Click on the gear icon on the right and select the “Show all” option.
- In the pop-up window, you can see all the installed interpreters. If you want to use a new interpreter, click on the plus icon in the top left corner and select the “Add” option.
- In the pop-up window, select the type of interpreter you want to configure (such as Python, Conda, Virtualenv, etc.) and the path. Click the “OK” button to add the interpreter.
- After adding the interpreter, you will be taken back to the “Project Interpreter” interface. Select the newly added interpreter from the list and click on the “OK” button at the bottom right to save the configuration.
Now, your PyCharm project will be run and debugged using the reconfigured interpreter.
