Install Local Extensions in VSCode

You can install local plugins in VSCode by following these steps:

  1. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+X
  2. Type the name of the plugin or keywords you want to install in the search bar, and then press the enter key to search.
  3. Click on the “Install” button on the plugin card once you have found the plugin to install.
  4. Once the plugin installation is complete, you will see the installed plugins in the extension list on the left.

You can install the plugin by using the following method if you have downloaded the .vsix installation package.

  1. Pressing Ctrl and the comma key.
  2. Click on the “Extensions” icon in the top left corner of the settings window.
  3. In the upper right corner of the Extensions page, click on the “…” button, and then select the option to “Install Extension from VSIX.”
  4. Visual Studio extension
  5. Once the plugin installation is completed, you will see the installed plugins in the extension list on the left side.
