How to enable the telnet service in Windows?
To enable the Telnet service on Windows, you can follow these steps:
- Open the “Control Panel”.
- Choose “Programs” or “Programs and Features.”
- Select “Turn Windows features on or off” in the left panel.
- In the pop-up window, locate the options for “Telnet Client” and “Telnet Server”, and check them.
- Click on the “OK” button.
- Windows will start installing and enabling the Telnet service.
- Afterward, you can press the Win + R keys and then type “cmd” to open the command prompt.
- Use the “telnet” command to connect to another computer or device.
Please note that by default, Telnet client and server are not available in Windows 10 and need to be manually enabled.
