To reboot the Oracle database, you can follow these steps:

  1. Access the operating system’s console or terminal.
  2. login to SQL*Plus as the system DBA using the “/ as sysdba” option
  3. Immediately shut down.
  4. Terminating abruptly.
  5. beginning of a new business venture
  6. Begin the startup process without mounting the database.
  7. Log in to SQL*Plus as the SYSDBA role.

Please be aware that before performing a reboot operation, make sure to have backed up the database and that there are no unfinished transactions occurring when shutting down the database. Rebooting the database may interrupt ongoing sessions and operations.
