C String End Detection Guide
In C language, the end of a source string can be determined using the ending marker ‘\0’. In C language, strings are character arrays that end with a null character ‘\0’. Therefore, the end of a string can be identified by searching for this null character within the source string.
For example, the following code can be used to determine the end position of the source string:
char sourceString[] = "Hello, World!";
int length = 0;
while(sourceString[length] != '\0') {
length++;
}
printf("Length of sourceString is: %d\n", length);
In the code above, we define a source string called sourceString and use a loop to search for the null character ‘\0’ within the source string. Once the loop is completed, the length variable will contain the length of the source string, indicating the end position.
