Install Ubuntu in VirtualBox: Step-by-Step Guide
The method for installing an Ubuntu virtual machine is as follows:
- Download and install VirtualBox software: Visit the official VirtualBox website (https://www.virtualbox.org) to download and install the latest version of the VirtualBox software.
- Download the Ubuntu image file: Visit the official Ubuntu website (https://www.ubuntu.com) to download the latest version of the Ubuntu image file (ISO file).
- Create a new virtual machine: Open the VirtualBox software, click the “New” button, and follow the wizard to create a new virtual machine. When configuring the virtual machine, select the operating system type as Linux, version as Ubuntu, and allocate enough memory and disk space for the virtual machine.
- To install Ubuntu, start the newly created Ubuntu virtual machine, select the Ubuntu disk image file downloaded earlier as the installation media, and follow the wizard to complete the Ubuntu installation process.
