Python String Character Search
In Python, the find() method can be used to locate the index position of a particular character in a string. For example:
s = "Hello, World!"
char = "o"
index = s.find(char)
if index != -1:
print(f"Found '{char}' at index {index}")
else:
print(f"'{char}' not found")
This code will search for the character ‘o’ in string s and output the index position where it is found. If the character is not found, it will output ‘o’ not found.
