How to format a Windows computer?
To format a Windows computer, you can follow these steps:

- Prepare installation media: If you have a Windows installation disc or USB installation media, have it ready and insert it into the computer.
- Access BIOS settings: Restart the computer, press the key displayed during startup (such as Del, F2, F12, etc.), to enter the BIOS settings interface.
- Set the boot order: In the BIOS setup interface, navigate to the boot order option and adjust the CD or USB device as the preferred boot item.
- Save the settings and restart: Save the BIOS settings and restart the computer.
- Access the installation interface: After the computer restarts, follow the on-screen prompts to select language, time zone, and other settings, then click “Next.”
- Select installation type: Choose “Custom Install” on the installation interface.
- Select the disk to format: From the list of disks, choose the one you want to format and click on “Format”.
- Confirm Formatting: After confirming the disk you want to format, click “OK” to proceed with the formatting.
- Complete installation: After formatting is complete, follow the prompts on the installation interface to select the location and username for installing Windows, then wait for the installation to finish.
