How to hide repositories in VS Code source control management?
If you want to hide a repository in VSCode, you can follow these steps:
- Open VSCode and click on the “Source Control” icon on the left side (usually a Git icon).
- In the source code management panel, click on the settings icon in the upper right corner (usually a gear icon), and then select “Preferences”.
- In the preferences, select the “Source Code Management” tab.
- In the “Source Control” tab, set the option “Show Source Control Providers” to off (by default, it is on).
- Close the preferences window, at this point the repository in the source code management panel should no longer appear.
Please note that this setting will only hide the repositories in the Source Control Management panel, and will not affect the actual Git or other version control operations. If you need to show the repositories again, simply reopen the “Show Source Control Provider” option.
