Fix Broken Ubuntu: Reinstall Guide
You can reinstall the Ubuntu system by following these steps:
- Prepare a bootable Ubuntu installation medium, which can be a USB flash drive or a CD.
- Insert the installation media into the computer and restart the computer.
- Access the BIOS settings interface by pressing keys such as F2, F10, or Delete, and change the boot order to prioritize booting from USB or CD.
- Save the settings and exit the BIOS, the computer will boot from the installation media.
- Select “Install Ubuntu” on the startup screen and press Enter.
- Choose the language and keyboard layout in the setup wizard, then click “Continue”.
- Choose the option “Erase disk and install Ubuntu” on the “Installation Type” page if you only want to reinstall Ubuntu without keeping any files.
- Click the “Install Now” button and then click “Continue” to confirm the operation.
- In the next setup page, choose information such as location, time zone, username, and password.
- Wait for the installation process to complete, then restart the computer.
- After the installation is complete, you can log back into the newly installed Ubuntu system.
Please note that during the process of reinstalling the system, the data on the disk will be erased, so please remember to backup important files beforehand.
