VirtualBox is a piece of open-source virtualization software that allows users to create and run multiple virtual machine instances on their computer. Here is a basic tutorial on how to use VirtualBox:

  1. Download and install VirtualBox.
  2. Download the appropriate version for your operating system from the official website of VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/).
  3. Run the downloaded installer and follow the installation guide to complete the installation process.
  4. Create a virtual machine.
  5. Open VirtualBox and click on the “New” button.
  6. Enter the name of the virtual machine and the type of operating system in the pop-up dialog box.
  7. Choose the memory size and disk capacity of the virtual machine according to your needs.
  8. Click on the “create” button.
  9. Set up a virtual machine.
  10. Select the virtual machine you just created from the virtual machine list.
  11. Click on the “Settings” button to configure various parameters of the virtual machine.
  12. In the configuration page, you can adjust the virtual machine’s network, storage, display, and other hardware settings.
  13. Install the operating system.
  14. Select the virtual machine from the virtual machine list where you want to install the operating system.
  15. Clicking the “Start” button will prompt VirtualBox to ask you to choose the installation media, such as the installation CD or ISO image file.
  16. After clicking the “Start” button, the virtual machine will begin to boot up and enter the operating system installation process.
  17. Use virtual machine.
  18. After installing the operating system, you can use the virtual machine to perform various operations with the operating system.
  19. Choose the virtual machine you want to run from the virtual machine list.
  20. Click on the “Start” button to boot up the virtual machine.
  21. Click on the “close” button to shut down the virtual machine.
